Common questions
Will I get reminded if the app is closed?
Yes. Pettioe registers a service worker so dose alerts fire even when the browser tab is closed, and the Android app uses native notifications. You can also export the whole schedule to your phone calendar as an ICS feed.
Can I set different times for different pets?
Yes. Every medication has its own dosing times and frequency, per pet. Unlimited pets are included, so a household with a dog on twice-daily pills and a cat on a weekly tablet gets two independent schedules.
Does it warn me before I run out?
Yes. Enter the remaining quantity and Pettioe counts down with every logged dose. When supply gets low it raises a running-low alert and a refill reminder, with one tap to log that you asked the pharmacy or vet.
Do I have to type the medication details in?
No. Photograph the prescription label and the scanner reads the medication name, dosage, frequency and remaining count, then fills the reminder in for you.
Is the medication reminder free?
Yes. Reminders, unlimited pets and the vaccination tracker are on the free plan. Pro adds the AI tools and larger document storage.
