Common questions
Is this an official pet passport?
No. An official EU pet passport, or an export health certificate, is issued by an authorised veterinarian and Pettioe cannot replace it. What Pettioe produces is a travel-ready record you can hand to boarding kennels, airlines, sitters and clinics, and use to fill official paperwork accurately.
What is in the passport PDF?
Pet identity details including microchip number, current vaccinations with dates and next-due dates, active medications and doses, known allergies and conditions, your vet's contact details, and your emergency contacts — all date-stamped.
Can I use it offline?
Yes. Download the PDF before you leave and it works with no signal. Many travellers also print a copy for the carrier.
Does it help at a border?
It helps you and the officer read the same facts quickly, and it helps you confirm your official documents are complete. Always check the destination country's own import requirements ahead of time.
