Pet QR code & lost pet mode

A pet QR code a stranger can scan in seconds

A phone number on a tag only works if it is still readable and still current. Pettioe gives each pet a QR code that opens a live emergency card — contact details, allergies, medications and your vet — that updates itself when you change something.

What you get

Scannable by any phone

Standard camera, no app install, no account needed by the finder.

Always current

The code points at a live page, so printed tags never go out of date.

The right details only

Emergency contacts, allergies, active meds and vet number — not your full record.

Lost Pet Mode

Mark a pet missing with last-seen location, a share link and a printable poster PDF.

Useful to clinics too

An emergency vet sees current medications before they treat.

One per pet

Unlimited pets, so every animal in the house gets its own card and code.

Common questions

How does the pet QR code work?

Each pet gets an emergency card at a public web address, plus a QR code for it. Anyone who finds your pet can scan the code with a normal phone camera — no app needed — and immediately see your contact details, the pet's name, allergies, current medications and your vet's number.

Does the QR code show my whole medical record?

No. The emergency card is deliberately limited to what a finder or an emergency clinic needs. Your full medical record stays private behind your login and is only shared through a link you create.

Do I need to reprint the QR code when things change?

No. The code points at a live page, so when you update a medication or a phone number the scanned card updates itself. Print once, use for years.

What is Lost Pet Mode?

Turning it on marks the pet as missing, adds a last-seen location and description, and generates a shareable link plus a printable missing-pet poster PDF for your neighbourhood, vets and shelters.

Where should I put the QR code?

On the collar tag is most common. Many owners also put a copy inside the carrier, on the crate, and in the go-bag with the pet passport.
